I heard that Christening/Baptism dresses run small, so I purchased the 18 month gown for my 11 1/2 month old and it fit perfectly. It was a beautiful dress! Everyone said how much they loved the dress. It fell to just above her ankles, which I thought was perfect for a baby this age getting Baptized. The only problem we had with the dress was that it had a funny odor when it arrived. This was easily fixed by leaving it out of the garment bag and hanging in the fresh air for a couple of days. Other than that, I really think it was a great buy!

I bought this for my daughter's baptism and thought I'd have to settle for something I didn't like because I needed something within 2 weeks and in a larger size as she is one year old. I am SO pleased with this beautiful little dress. It reminds me of a classic, silk wedding dress but designed so sweetly for a baby girl. Be sure to order according to weight/height measurements. She is 12 mos. but 26 lbs. and tall so I ordered 24 months and it fits comfortably but not too big. It is designed so that opens in back almost completely making it so easy to put on a squirmy baby. I wouldn't recommend for an infant as it has very stiff tulle under the skirt that would only make the skirt stick up funny on a baby who is laying down.(Although maybe the smaller sizes don't have as much tulle, if any at all).
