I heard that Christening/Baptism dresses run small, so I purchased the 18 month gown for my 11 1/2 month old and it fit perfectly. It was a beautiful dress! Everyone said how much they loved the dress. It fell to just above her ankles, which I thought was perfect for a baby this age getting Baptized. The only problem we had with the dress was that it had a funny odor when it arrived. This was easily fixed by leaving it out of the garment bag and hanging in the fresh air for a couple of days. Other than that, I really think it was a great buy!

I bought this for my daughter's baptism and thought I'd have to settle for something I didn't like because I needed something within 2 weeks and in a larger size as she is one year old. I am SO pleased with this beautiful little dress. It reminds me of a classic, silk wedding dress but designed so sweetly for a baby girl. Be sure to order according to weight/height measurements. She is 12 mos. but 26 lbs. and tall so I ordered 24 months and it fits comfortably but not too big. It is designed so that opens in back almost completely making it so easy to put on a squirmy baby. I wouldn't recommend for an infant as it has very stiff tulle under the skirt that would only make the skirt stick up funny on a baby who is laying down.(Although maybe the smaller sizes don't have as much tulle, if any at all). My daughter looked absolutly precious on her Christening Day! The dress was adorable, made her look soo grown up for 10 weeks old. For sure a great price for such a nice dress, I saw others very similar out well over $100 more than this one! The only thing was some of the small beads would fall off, and even fell off before I took it out of the bag, but you could not even notice, I am having it cleaned and preserved, so that even I can use it again, and hopefull my future granddaughters can as well.

I bought this dress for my granddaughter's christening and it fit her beautifully. I bought "9 months" because 9 months starts at 24" and 15lbs. She was 24" and 13 lbs at 3 months, and the dress fit her well (a little loose, but it was very easy to get on and off of her). She looked like an angel. I would buy this dress again in an instant and would recommend it to anyone.
