This outfit is really nice. One piece, easy on and off, easy diaper changes. There are three buttons up the back of the outfit, and 4 at the bottom/leg area (to get to the diaper without having to remove the entire outfit).
The website says dry clean only, but the instructions on the product tag say machine wash warm and tumble dry low (get ready to iron if you wash it this way)...which I did previous to him wearing it. While the outfit did shrink a little in the wash, it now fits him perfectly. I should mention that my son is 19+ lbs and the size I bought (9-12 months) was rated for 16 to 20 lbs.
The only thing I did not like about this product was the hat. There were 2 velcro dots to connect the chin strap...the velcro fell off in the wash. However, that is a moot point since the strap (previous to washing) was not even close to long enough to fit around my son's head.

I saw the reviews on the romper and I couldn't wait to get this shpped and try it on my son. It was certainly cute but I was surprised at the poor fit - especially since the person I ordered with said the manufacturer recommended I get my 17 lb 4 month old the 9-12 months. I was reluctant as he is only 4 months and although a chunky guy I was worried 9-12 months would be too long. I ordered with "my gut" the 6-9 month which they say is good up to 16 1/2 lbs and that was too big! It really is still a cute outfit - wasn't huge huge on him so certainly worked and easy to get him in and out of. The hat, as other reviews mention, is far too big though. [...] Overall a cute romper, watch your size though (runs big) and forget the hat. Also shoes and socks run very big - got my 17pounder newborn size and they were still roomy!

My son is 8 months (~20 lbs) and the 6-9 months size fit. However, the bonnet was tight on his head and the strap was not long enough to properly close. But even if it were longer, the velcro on it to keep it in place is tiny and useless as my son would just pull it off. (Snap buttons would be a better choice.) I like the plastic packaging it came in, good for storage later on. The shipping was fast.

bought this for my 3 month old because I wanted something simple, but classic and elegant. This romper is lightweight, comfortable, and in my opinion, perfect! Shipping was fast too!
